Join us as we visit the cultural hot spots in and around the Triangle and the world!  No place on the globe is too far away!!  We feature all sorts of interesting cultural activities -- cruises, ethnic restaurants, museums, festivals, movies, music of all kinds, outdoorsy events to appreciate the great climate we have in North Carolina, and also events just to help members get to know each other.

The primary focus of this group is attending cultural events and going out for brunch, lunch, and dinner with other 50+ year old seniors, singles, and couples. From gourmet to pizza, some of our favorites are Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and steak, as well as health conscious restaurants. We also enjoy theatre, classical music concerts, museum events, and movies. Occasionally, we cook and entertain in our homes (with limited numbers). Enjoy live music? Me too!!!   I tried out a new spot for open mic nights in north Durham and had a great time!   I figured having a group to enjoy the show with would make it all the better so why not let meetup get us aconnected??   If you're a singer, poet, rapper or just enjoy live perfomances and you want something to do on Sunday evenings come on out and we'll enjoy the evening together. Include a couple beverages of choice and the venue had Fantastic wings!!
